ASTRA PANELS offer important cost benefits. They can reduce construction time significantly and allow simplified one-trade installation. There are design benefits from the inherent strength, custom made unlimited length, and standard modular construction. ASTRA PANELS structures can be easily extended, remodelled or relocated.
Lightweight Strength
Because ASTRA PANELS are light and strong they function as structural elements. No internal wall or roofing framing is needed, and the spanning capability of ASTRA PANELS can eliminate or reduce the need for other support.
Built-in insulation
ASTRA PRODUCTS ‘CELL-O-LITE’ expanded polystyrene insulation provides the ultimate combination of thermal resistance and dimensional stability, for floor, wall, roof and ceiling insulation.

Australian Standards
The expanded polystyrene core (EPS) of ASTRA PANELS possesses the properties designated under Australian Standard 1366, Part 3-1992.
Panel Lining
0.4mm/0.6mm Colorbond © pre-painted steel most commonly used. (Surfmist, standard)
Alternative colours and lining material options available.
Mill finish aluminium trims standard.
Panel Adhesive
Panel linings bonded to EPS core with synthetic thermo-setting polyurethane adhesive creating a permanently stable panel under a wide range of conditions and temperatures.

Length: Manufactured to customer’s requirements and only limited BY transport constraints

Panel Assembly
Prefabricated panels are assembled and sealed to form an effective vapour barrier.The high strength to weight ratio of ASTRA PANELS generally allows wall construction without the need for load bearing foundations. No framework or stud system is used in this construction system. A steel framed roof is normally required where panels are used for ceiling/roof construction in large buildings.
